Former burlesque fitness instructor, Candy Rock is a fitness and cardio striptease instructor from the East Coast, having rebranded to “Cardio Burlesque” upon moving to Chicago to add a bit more sass and class to the experience. Whatever you choose to call it, there’s nothing better than spreading the joy of a sexy strut, hip roll, and hair flip to the ladies of this fine city!

Candy has also been the lead vocalist of several rock cover bands, most currently in “Grunge Candy”, a 90s party rock band. From the generation that loved Nirvana and Britney Spears equally, she loves melodic but heavy guitar riffs, as they provide the perfect energy and accentuation of music to move to, all translating into female self-appreciation and empowerment. She tries to re-create that onstage feeling of living on the edge of a thrilling moment, and you’ll leave her classes with a flush on your face and fierce joy in your heart!

Candy’s classes are structured on cycles of different sensual movements, not choreography, so they are perfect to let loose, learn new ways to move, and get a workout, without having to concentrate on a specific routine.
