ABOUT VAUDEZILLA

Founded by Red Hot Annie and Keith Emroll, VAUDEZILLA! has been bedazzling Chicago since 2008. It has been featured in Burlesque Magazine's top 10 burlesque shows in the world and voted Chicago's best burlesque by the Chicago Reader 3 years and counting - VAUDEZILLA! is a staple of late-night Saturdays at Stage 773, where they present humans in every style on stage weekly.

VAUDEZILLA! is also proud to offer burlesque classes to anybody with a body at her home studio in Old Irving Park, where students of all ages, sizes, and abilities can practice the art of creativity, confidence, and camaraderie. If you’ve ever heard someone talk about picturing the audience in their underwear to alleviate nerves - just imagine the empowerment potential of confidently being in your underwear in front of an audience!

Burlesque and bellydance are for everybody who has a body - at its heart, classes at VAUDEZILLA! Burlesque are a celebration of diversity and what makes each body’s story special. Our classes are for people who:

- want a more daring way to practice self-care - by cultivating time to learn and practice new skills

- want an effortless way to exercise and tune into their body

- want an excuse to buy new lingerie ;)

- want to simply “BE” with themselves - to discover what they can create for no other reason than it feels good!

You are worthy of joy! And part of what makes our classes so special is at the end of each 8-week session, there's a very special Student Spectacular, where each class shows what they learned!
