Demo Cooking: Bombay Wraps

Visit the streets of Mumbai and Kolkata for delicious, on-the-go wraps. In this cooking class, you will learn how to make a variety of handheld wraps also known as Mumbai burritos or kathi rolls.  You will see how to prepare handmade wraps from scratch as well as how to use store-bought wraps. Vegetarian fillings include paneer tikka, cheese, corn, and masala potato, topped with a quick pickled onion and cilantro chutney.

Fall in love with mouthwatering and easy-to-prepare Indian street food. In this demonstration cooking class, you will learn to prepare crunchy tikki—a spiced potato cutlet, and endlessly adaptable pakoras—fritters made with your choice of fresh vegetables. Hot chai tea infused with herbs including green cardamom is a must-have accompaniment. You may opt to sample the dishes cooked at the end of class or take your portion home.
