Students will have the basic knowledge of 3D printing and how this technique applies to the real world. They will gain a basic understanding of the design process from researching to digitizing their ideas and get familiar with different materials for 3D printing during the process. Each student will bring 2-3 design works.

Develop ideas and create projects you imagine! Work in the medium of your choice: painting, sculpture, clay, drawing, mixed media. An open studio setting without a structured curriculum and formal instruction. Students are encouraged with guidance on an individual basis. Students should be comfortable working independently.

Learn the basics using both the wheel and hand-building techniques. Wheel techniques will begin with simpler forms including a cylinder, bowl, and plate leading into more in-depth processes.  Hand building will include pinch pots, coil, and slab. You will receive direction and encouragement to expand on areas of your own interest.
