What you'll learn in this motorcycle class:
Learn how to rebuild a modern motorcycle engine!
In this class you will thoroughly go through the entire engine including theory, discussion, and hands on work. This class will be performed using three Kawasaki Ninja 250 engines.
In groups of 2 to 3, each team will be assigned an engine, given a work space, all necessary tools, and instruction manuals. Each team will be guided by a professional mechanic to ensure all the steps are done correctly.
In the allocated time, tear down the engine, then reassemble and bench-start. The first team to successfully start its engine wins.
You will learn:
• engine tests
• diagnostics
• tear-down
• inspection
• tips and tricks
• measurements
• reassembly
• best practices
