Maya Kutz, Kate Lodvikov

Teaches at New York Botanical Garden

Maya is a hydroponics technician with a background in engineering and a passion for all things food and horticulture. She worked as a technician and teaching assistant for two years at the Cornell University Cooperative Extension Hydroponics/Aquaponics Science and Technology Education Program. Currently Maya is working as a grower at PureSpinach in Florence, New Jersey.

Kate has operated a number of vertical farming systems in New York City. Currently, she is a hydroponics technician at AgTech X. Kate has recently worked alongside an entrepreneur at Square Roots, assisting with multiple facets of leafy green production in one of their shipping container farms. Kate also installs a variety of indoor farming systems for private chefs around the city.
