Immersed in movement from a young age, Maryelen came to yoga in college as a way to release tension from an imbalanced work and psych/pre-med schedule.

After an accident severely limited her mobility for years, she intuitively returned to the practice to heal, against all therapists orders. 6 months later, she completed her 200hr training and has continued her education, including Happy Back, iRest (yoga nidra), Cancer Therapy Yoga, kids yoga, and more. In yoga she found the art and science of healing she was searching for and gratefully shares what she's been given.
