Lisa Bebi studied fine art at SDSU and abroad at the Academy of London. Her work has been featured in many local magazines and recently was considered the "Top 50 Artists To Watch" by the San Diego Contemporary Art Museum, Mingei International, and a national publication. Lisa has received numerous awards locally, regionally, and nationally and has exhibited her work in group and solo shows over the past 15 years. Lisa's painting is like jazz fusion—not so much for brushstroke work but because of the complex layers of seemingly unrelated stuff that somehow tie together. Speedy looking and details that are described more in the subject matter rather than tight brushstrokes.
