Description

Master the time-honored techniques of classic sauce-making. 

Menu:
Dried Fruit and Port Reduction with Sautéed Pork Medallions; Cheddary Béchamel with Baked Penne; Easier-than-Ever Béarnaise Sauce with Oven-Poached Salmon; Romesco Sauce with Oven-Roasted Potatoes. 

Skills Covered in Class Include: Preparing Reductions; Using Roux As a Thickening Agent; Preparing Hot Emulsions; Balancing Flavors; Roasting Peppers; Poaching Fish; Sautéing Pork.

Note: Students will work in groups of 3 to 5 people.

Refund Policy

  • All classes have a three (03) day cancellation policy, except Culinary Boot Camps 1 and 2 which have a two-week cancellation policy. 
  • You must email [email protected] to cancel an existing reservation.
  • If you cancel a class other than Culinary Boot Camps 1 & 2 more than 3 days in advance and have paid with a credit card, you will receive a refund to your card, minus the 15% administrative fee which is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • If you cancel more than 3 days in advance and have paid with a gift card, you will receive an account credit valid toward future classes, minus the administrative fee. 
  • If you cancel within three days of your class, you will receive an account credit equal to 50% of the class price less 15% administrative fee, which is non-refundable and non-transferable. This credit is valid for one year. 
  • If you are unable to attend, you are also welcome to send a guest in your place. 
  • Culinary Boot Camps 1 & 2 have a 2-week cancellation policy so any cancellations before 2-weeks will receive a refund minus the administrative fee. 
  • No credits will be given for cancellations within 2 weeks.
  • In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
