POWERPOINT BASICS: 

• We cover about 85% of the program in this class (it's much easier than Access or Excel). 
• Create, edit, close, open, view, save, and run presentations. 
  

PRESENTATION ELEMENTS: 

• Create, edit, view, move, and delete slides. 
• Move and resize placeholders. 
• Change slide layout. 

WORK WITH DIFFERENT TYPES OF SLIDES: 

• Add slides containing Tables, Graphs, Diagrams, Pictures, Clipart, Movies, and Sounds. 

WORK IN DIFFERENT VIEWS: 

• Use Slide View to create and edit slides. 
• Use Outline View to quickly enter text. 
• Use Slide Sorter View to copy, move, and delete slides. 
• Use Notes Pages View to add speakers notes.

SPECIAL EFFECTS: 

• Add "Transitions" between slides, and "Effects" to lists. 
• Add Slide Timings to run a presentation automatically. 
• Adjust the speed of different special effects. 

 DRAWING TOOLS: 

• Draw squares, circles, arcs, freehand objects, etc. 
• Use AutoShape feature. 
• Rotate drawing elements.
