Adobe Illustrator One-Day Bootcamp

Registered students will be notified 24 hours in advance of this program with information on how to log in to the Zoom Meeting Room and other tools you'll need for the session. Registration for this class will close 2 hours prior to the session start in order to allow all students ample opportunity to have the technology enabled.

Bring your creative ideas to life with Adobe Illustrator, the industry-standard vector graphics software, used by designers and illustrators who want to create digital graphics, logos, illustrations, and original typography. This workshop is designed to get you up and running with Adobe Illustrator in just one day. The focus will be on step-by-step instruction leading students through the most important tools and concepts in Illustrator.

Preparation

• You will need access to a laptop or computer with a working webcam and microphone as well as a strong internet connection.
• This course will occur completely online using Zoom and Slack.
• Course set up information will be emailed to all students signed up around 24 hours before (and again an hour before) your course launches.
• This is an introductory course designed for first time and beginning Illustrator users. No prior experience with Illustrator is required for this class. All students will need to have Adobe Illustrator CC already downloaded on their laptop (Mac preferred) for the start of class. The full version of Adobe Illustrator CC or the free 7-day trial version of it can be found at http://www.adobe.com/products/illustrator.
• Mouse or Wacom Tablet are recommended.
• Knowledge of computer is preferred.
