Beginner’s improv with an emphasis on fun and meeting new people. The idea of this class is to teach improv skills in a non-stresful way. Think of it as dipping a toe in the water. A prefect way to get started without any pressure. At one hour, it is short and breezy for those of you who might be “Zoomed out.” Just come play. Anyone can improvise!

Improvise, Socialize, Revitalize

A class that lets you practice and master the principles of improv in a relaxed, easygoing manner, but nonetheless prepares you for any work, performance, or social situation. A secondary benefit is that you will meet and connect with delightful people along the way. Because this class is shorter in length (one hour), you'll learn and get energized rather than "Zoomed out." Usually with snacks. BYOB.

Tuesday Improv - Night Time Special (Class + Coaching)
My experience with the course was very positive. The structure of the two-part format, with the virtual learning portion followed by in-person improv practice, was effective and engaging. I appreciated that everyone had the opportunity to actively participate and showcase their work, fostering a sense of teamwork. The instructor provided valuable guidance throughout the course, making the learning process enjoyable and collaborative. I truly enjoyed witnessing the creativity of everyone and how each person's unique perspective came to life. The warm-up games were particularly enjoyable; they effectively helped us all relax and connect, setting a positive tone for our collaborative efforts. -
Tuesday Improv - Night Time Special (Class + Coaching)
I thought my experience was really good, and I would like to do it again. It was a bit out of my comfort zone but Carl did a great job of bringing me in and getting me to interact well with everyone. The space was very nice too, it was just upstairs in someone's apartment but a beautiful view over Central Park. For it being a little far from my apartment and a little expensive to do on a regular basis for me. Would certainly recommend people try it!! -
