Sew Pajama Pants
I gave up on sewing over 40 years ago. I always had trouble following the pattern and made so many mistakes. The instructor was excellent, and gave us step-by-step instructions. We did not have to rely on the pattern instructions which are often confusing. Students were at different levels but the instructor was patient and gave extra time to those that needed more help. I was able to complete my project and love my PJ bottoms. A very fun day. -

Sewing 101: Make a Skirt
I booked last minute. Me and three other students. We learned basics of machine threading, measuring our selves, using a calculation to determine how to draw out and cut material. We sewed our individual elastic waist skirt and learned something. I missed the fine print to my own fabric, so I paid $45 for linen fabric at the shop. Plus $95 for the class. I now have a $140 hand made skirt.
