Whether you are total beginner to mixed-media, painting and collage art, or you're needing a creative jumpstart, this inspiring, engaging online art class is a perfect place to start! In only two hours, you'll receive step-by-step art instruction from a top-notch professional artist and educator from our #1-rated New York City art studio. Ceate a mixed-media collage painting to feel proud of while being introduced to a variety of art materials, tools and techniques that can work together to create personalized, expressive and multi-layered artworks. Learn the basics about acrylic paint color mixing, acrylic texture mediums, layering paint, expressive markmaking, and how to combine multiple materials in order to authentically express yourself through art. The focus of this online art class is on relaxation and FUN exploration while giving you confidence for continuing your artistic journey!
Art Class Materials:
Materials are not included. Paper, Pencil, Acrylic Paint (Red, Yellow, Blue and White) Paintbrushes, Old magazine or newspaper, Mod podge Optional: Texture Acrylic Mediums, such as Molding Paste, Gloss Medium and Crackle Paste
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
Class tuition is neither refundable nor transferable. No refunds will be issued after registration and payment. In case of a Medically Certified illness, a credit will be issued after receipt of your physician’s documentation. The value of the credit will be for the balance of the remaining class sessions with an additional deduction of a $95 registration fee. Credit may be used up to 12 months.
If after your first class you are dissatisfied with the quality of your course, a written note must be submitted within 1 business day after your first class. After receiving your note, refund of class tuition will be reviewed by our staff. If a refund is granted, processing of refunds requires 8-10 weeks. A 5% nonrefundable processing fee will be applied.
Course Cancellations
Although course cancellation is quite rare, The school reserves the right to cancel classes or change instructor assignments and makes every effort to notify students in advance. If enrollment goals are not met, a course may be canceled up to 1 business day before the first scheduled class. In the event of cancellation, a refund or credit is granted. On occasion, a course start-date will be pushed back if enrollment goals are not met. In this instance, you will receive a credit for the price of the class that did not take place.
Please note that there will be NO exceptions to this under any circumstances.
Make-up Policy
Unfortunately, The school does not offer any makeups for classes missed. However, if the student wants to get the most from the course and the absence, they can tell the instructor when they will be absent and the instructor can provide some guidance on exercises to practice while away.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
