The Essential Oil Safety & Responsible Aromatic Crafting class is designed to introduce students to the essential principles of essential oil safety, responsible aromatic practices, and informed use of concentrated botanical oils. This educational class combines a one-hour live virtual instructional session with four self-paced online course modules that students can access through their Peach Academy student accounts.
Students will explore how essential oils are produced, their concentrated nature, appropriate handling and storage practices, safe dilution principles, and important precautions for different populations and environments. The course emphasizes responsible decision-making, label awareness, risk reduction, and the importance of understanding that natural products are not automatically safe for every person or application.
The class is divided into two learning sections. Part 1 is a one-hour live virtual stream session featuring foundational theory, instructor explanations, and an interactive question-and-answer session. Part 2 consists of four online learning modules that students complete by logging into their Peach Academy accounts at their own pace.
By combining live instruction with structured online education, students will develop a stronger foundation for evaluating essential oil safety information and approaching aromatic crafting with greater awareness, care, and responsibility.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
