Description
Class Level: Beginner
Age Requirements: 12 and older
Average Class Size: 4
Teacher: Tammy Deck

What you'll learn in this felt class:

Beginners and seasoned felters are invited to come and play with this fun, unusual, magical process that by-passes knitting and sewing capitalizing on the natural attributes of animal hair to turn yarn and roving into this sculptural neck "ruff".

This is a wet felting technique that delivers a stabilized fabric which won't pill or become hairy with wear. During Tammy's 3.5 hour workshop, each student will make their own scarf in their choice of colorway.

Dress for comfort... and a bit of a work out (bring snacks if you think you'll need them). Please allow a 1/2 hour window beyond the stated end time.

Wet felting by-passes spinning and knitting (it's true! there's no knitting involved) and capitalizes on the natural attributes of animal hair fibers to bond...
