What you'll learn in this soap making class:

SOAP MAKING Quick Starter

Basics in Cold Process Vegan Recipe
Suitable Class for groups of 5 or less
Science & Safety of Sopponification demystified
Class For occasional maker through Indie professional

Learn the Art & Craft of cold process soap making (from scratch... not melt and pour) This is a 2 hour class where students learn the entire process (from start to finish) as they work together creating one full base batch to be divided into customized, personal portions (approx 3 hefty bars/4oz each).

Each person selects from our collection of essential oils, fragrances and color ingredients. Safety topics and tips for home crafting and lye handling will be covered. Taught by Tammy L Deck, crafting, selling and teaching "back to basic" soap since 1999.

For optimum success and personal safety, Soap will remain undisturbed at the studio for min 24 hours. Students should plan a follow-up visit to un-mold their soap or arrange to have their soap mailed.

Please wear a mask and comfortable work clothes with long sleeves to class.

There is no fee to transfer your payment to a different class provided your request is made at least 10 days prior to the class date for your original registration.

All payments are forfeited if you withdraw from a class less than 7 days prior to the class date. Cancellations are subject to a 5% cancellation fee on electronic payments.

NO refunds, credits, transfers or make-up for missed sessions. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment and will transfer or refund 100% of all money collected for that class.

I loved the class! Tammy was knowledgeable, prepared, informative and personable and very pleasant to work with. I left the class quite confident that I could make soap on my own competently. Tammy's instructions were clear and concise and she could answer any question that I had and was happy to do so.
