Our Total Beginner Mandarin classes are designed for students with little to no background in Mandarin Chinese, and our engaging, professional teachers will guide you every step of the way.

Over the course of 8 weeks, you can expect to learn basic Mandarin conversation skills, pinyin, grammar, and vocabulary, as well as get an introduction to the writing system. Using a textbook oriented toward the spoken language, students learn to speak Mandarin while engaging in lively conversations and role play.

A PDF copy of the textbook, Chit-Chat Chinese, is included in the cost of the class and will be emailed to you the day before the start date.

Refund Policy

If you wish to withdraw, payment is fully refundable until 8 business days before the class start date.
After that, refunds and transfers are not possible.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
