Cesar Rueda

Teaches at Los Angeles Center of Photography

Cesar Rueda is a collector of fine-art photography with a focus on work from Latin American artists. He has a BA in philosophy from UC Berkeley, a certificate in photography from UCLA Ext. and a JD from Southwestern Law, where he was awarded Trial Advocate of the Year in 2021 while participating in the Trial Advocacy Honors Program. For nearly 20 years he has been the sole proprietor of a boutique real estate brokerage. Recently, he has started volunteering at the self-help center for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. In 2024 he plans to expand by launching his own law firm focusing on real estate and copyright law. He is a member of the Getty Museum Photographs Council (GMPC), the National Gallery of Art Photography Initiative in Washington D.C., the LENS Photography Council at LACMA and the Photographic Arts Council of Los Angeles.
