Open to all who have completed a Story Studio workshop.
You will workshop one story in a supportive group setting with other advanced students. Prompting and brainstorming will be given as warm-up exercises at the beginning of the class, but you are also welcome to bring in one story, around 7-8 minutes long, to workshop. Whether your goal is to breathe new life into a story you have already crafted or discover a new story to work on, this class is the perfect place for a storyteller to refresh, refine, and find new inspiration.
Day 1 consists of exercises that will help you craft your story. On Day 2, all students will perform their stories in class and receive feedback from their instructor and classmates.
Please note: Students must take The Story Studio’s Level 1 6-session storytelling course, 2-day storytelling workshop, or an equivalent course before taking the Level 2 course.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
