Unleash your creativity in a welcoming ceramics studio, where terracotta clay becomes a playground for your imagination. Dive into the joy of sculpting without boundaries, exploring the endless possibilities of form and function in a supportive atmosphere of experimentation and discovery.
This handbuilding ceramics open studio will be a playful low stakes learning environment grounded in exploration and letting go of expectations. Participants will work with terracotta clay and are welcome to make anything they'd like such as sculptural, abstract & functional forms.
No experience is necessary and all are ages welcome. This workshop will be suited to those who are curious in working with clay for the first time and those with various levels of experience who would like to create in a communal and welcoming space.
All materials are included and participants can build as many pieces as they'd like within the two hour period. We will be working with unglazed terracotta clay that, once fired, can be used for anything except eating or drinking.
Workshops are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend the workshop you may reschedule with the studio or transfer your spot to another person, please confirm with the studio when doing so.
