Teaches at Highwire Comedy

One of my responsibilities as a teacher and minister in the ashram of Paramahansa Yogananda was to help new monk speakers find their voice and teaching style from the heart. My public speaking and teaching Raja yoga experience in the ashram were from the years 1982 until 1999. After coming out of the ashram in 1999 I did a 1000 hour hatha yoga training at the Yoga Room in Encinitas. In their 200 hour yoga teacher trainings once again I taught new yogis how to find their voice and teach authentically from the heart. This time it was teaching Hatha yoga on the mat.


As Co-Founder of the Soul of Yoga in 2003 and the establishment of our own 200 hr. Yoga Alliance certified training, both my wife Trisha and I did most of the teacher training ourselves in the early years. We then helped to develop and teach in our 500 hour Advanced training and from there the 1000 hour Yoga Therapy training was born. To this day I am still teaching new yogis how to find their voice and teaching style from the heart.
