This course takes an artist-friendly approach (no coding or game dev experience required) and shows you how Unreal can slot right into your workflow, whether you’re creating polished titles, immersive animations, or just want faster feedback in your creative process. If you’re looking to complement your current tools or fully replace traditional platforms like Cinema 4D, this course will help you get there.
Objectives:
- Bringing Photoshop and Illustrator vector graphics into Unreal and turning them into 3D objects
- Building dynamic, raytraced type and titles in real-time
- Importing static and animated models
- Importing scenes from Cinema 4D using Live Link
- Working with video, creating and managing materials
- Using Unreal’s motion design-style tools like cloners and effectors
- Rendering and importing into After Effects using the ACES color pipeline

Prerequisites: No experience with Unreal Engine is necessary. A working knowledge of Windows or Mac operating systems. A background or experience in editing, production, or post-production is recommended but not required.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
