Description

This class introduces the capabilities of Autodesk Moldflow Adviser to help optimize plastic part design for mold filling. By providing a theoretical background on injection molding and plastic part design, the attendee will gain an understanding of how to streamline their process by utilizing the user interface, importing a model, mesh preparation, and simulation adviser tools. 

Simulations such as gate location, fill analysis, molding window, cooling quality, and sink marks will all be addressed throughout the training. The material database for searching and comparing will also be introduced.

Who Should Attend? 

Users wishing to improve plastic part designs using simulation to save cost and improve performance prior to mold design.

Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Refund Policy

  • Cancellations/changes to registration within 7 business days of the class will be charged 25% of the total cost.
  • Exceptions will be made in case of inclement weather or emergencies.

In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
