This class will demonstrate the Pipe Layout and Drafting Tools in Autocad Civil 3D. Civil 3D uses a Network Model, providing a powerful system for representing the interactions of Pipes and structures within a system. The Civil 3D Pipe Network will also link to an external analysis program called Storm and Sanitary Sewer Analysis (SSA). Detailed analysis operations in the SSA product are covered in a separate training class.
This class will provide some insight into the development of prototyped pipe network settings, deployed through template drawings that make the required pipe cataloged elements available to all designers. The class is structured for the creation and editing of pipe network data, as well as Civil 3Ds pipe annotation capabilities and the ability to create design deliverables.
Prerequisite: C3D-101, C3D-102, C3D-103
