This course is the capstone build lab. You deploy an operations and automation hub built around agentic workflows: multi-step processes that run on a schedule or a trigger, carry out internal tasks, and escalate to a human when something needs judgment. Designing these well is mostly about deciding what an agent should do unattended and what it should never do, which the course treats as a first-class design question.
The second application is a client operations and practice-management system covering scheduling, billing, client communication, and a client-facing portal. Because outside users touch it, it has to be reliable and secure in ways an internal tool does not, so authentication, permissions, and graceful failure get real attention. You finish the program with a portfolio of deployed applications spanning productivity, knowledge, revenue, finance, and operations.
What You Will Learn
- Design multi-step agentic workflows that run on schedules and triggers
- Decide what an agent handles unattended and when it escalates to a person
- Automate internal operations tasks to reduce manual effort
- Build scheduling and calendar integration
- Handle billing and invoicing workflows
- Deploy a secure client-facing portal with appropriate permissions
- Design for graceful failure in systems outside users depend on
- Present a completed portfolio of deployed business applications
