This class will be held via Zoom unless otherwise specified.
This combined 120-hour Medical Billing & Coding course offers the skills needed to solve insurance billing problems, manually file claims (using the CPT Codes and ICD-10 CM manuals), complete common insurance forms, trace delinquent claims, appeal denied claims and use generic forms to streamline billing procedures.

Dear prospective student, as you are aware New York State has been dealing with a declared state of emergency due to the novel coronavirus-19 outbreak. Please be aware that our future course dates may be delivered in either a traditional classroom face-to-face format or an on-line format or a hybrid model that mixes both live and online course delivery. The determination of how our future courses will be delivered is still not predictable due to the fluidity of the current situation in New York. However, please rest assured that in either course delivery format our programs will maintain high quality and value for you our students.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Students unable to attend the courses they have
registered for, must inform the Continuing Education department in writing that they wish to withdraw. Failure to complete the course DOES NOT constitute official withdrawal, nor does notification of the instructor. (This only applies to
students that have directly registered through BMCC’s Continuing Education).
The lack of attendance alone DOES NOT entitle the student to a refund of tuition or the cancellation of tuition still due. 100% refund will be made to any registrant who submits a request in writing two (2) business days before the first session of the class; 50% refund before the second session of the class. There will be no refund thereafter. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing.
We will not issue refunds for classes which have been postponed
due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make every effort to reschedule such classes.

Should BMCC Continuing Education cancel a class that you purchased through CourseHorse, you will receive a full refund or credit.
