Master the art of on-camera auditions and perfect your performance at The Barrow Group Acting School. This intensive class teaches actors quick, powerful tools to excel in both prepared and cold-read auditions. Don't miss your chance to improve your storytelling and make a lasting impression in the industry.
In our On-Camera Audition Technique class, students are introduced to quick, powerful tools to maximize performance for prepared and cold read auditions. Students will be introduced to The Barrow Group approach to script analysis and acting tools to make quick choices to improve storytelling, the physical life of the scene, and technical tips for the medium.
Week one begins with a script analysis overview. Followed by two weeks of prepared auditions and two weeks of cold reads. The class culminates in mock auditions.
Prerequisite: This class is designed for actors with previous training and experience. If you are a beginner actor, please start with Beginner Acting Class I: The Basics.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
All payments are non-refundable (unless the school cancels the class).
Commitment is for the duration of the session. There are no credits or refunds for individual missed classes. If you discontinue any class before the ending date of the session, you forfeit your fee.
A student may not transfer to a different class once a class has begun.
The school reserve the right to change teachers at any time.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
