Ryan Snelson

Ryan specializes in UX, design, and strategy for mobile and social. He is currently the Head of Product + UX at the startup Citymaps, where he distills and defines business objectives in to engaging, fun, and useful experiences. Previously Ryan was at Google where he worked with the Knowledge Team as a UX designer on Search. His focus was on the Ask Google UI for web, mobile, and tablet. Prior to that Ryan was at Myspace where he helped destroy and reinvent the social network with a focus on entertainment and music, and later to lead the UX and design team for mobile. Before social networking was a thing, he worked at a few digital agencies, creating social products and web apps. In the beginning, he kicked it off at a handful of startups that crashed during the first dot-com bubble, quickly learning what worked and what didn't. In his free time Ryan is riding bikes with motors or pedals.
