Ross Shenker

Teaches at Actors Connection New York

Ross Shenker is currently Associate Casting Director at Kate Geller Casting (Shiva Baby, Nine Days), where his primary focus is on independent film and new plays.

Current releases include: Molli & Max in the Future (SXSW select w/ Zosia Mamet), Cora Bora (SXSW select w/ Megan Stalter), Wilder Than Her (Brooklyn Horror FF select w/ Sunita Mani), and The Good Half (Universal Pictures w/ Nick Jonas).

He is also Taylor Williams's Associate CD on a new work headed to Broadway. He holds a BA in Theater & Jewish Studies from Wesleyan University and an MFA in Performance Studies from the University of Louisville. He worked at IAG (fka APA) for 3 years in their Comedy and Talent Divisions. He has taught and directed at U of L and UW-Madison in their respective Theater Departments. He is also a certified teacher candidate in the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique with the National Michael Chekhov Association.
