Eileen Pappas is a designer and graduate of Parsons the New School for Design with several years of fashion industry experience in New York City. She is an expert in various hand-crafted textile and embellishment techniques, including embroidery, knitting, weaving and felting. Eileen enjoys all aspects of the creative process and exploring different ways in which materiality can be used to tell a story. She has taught live workshops as well as university classes and enjoys helping each of her students identify their individual strengths, build confidence in their unique process, and develop innovative ways of gathering inspiration, using materials and presenting their work.
