Lecture, demonstration, and critique will dominate this virtual painting class. Weekly home assignments will be given which will be the subject of that week's session. Together, the students and instructor will work through the issues involved in painting. Classes will primarily focus on portraiture and still-life
Classical Studio Techniques Workshop
In this hands-on workshop students will be given the unique opportunity to grind and tube paint, make and apply true gesso to a panel, mix a medium, transfer their drawing (done in class) to the panel and finally begin their own painting.
