There are endless ways to capture a story. How do you know the best way to shoot yours? In this workshop, examine various modes and styles in documentary cinematography. From handheld verité to the Interrotron and high production value, explore the myriad of ways a cinematographer can change the look and feel of any shoot on site and in frame.
There will be indepedent readings and screenings assigned between sessions of this workshop.

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

* at least 2 full business days prior to workshopʼs start date - Full Credit (valid for 3 months) or a 50% Refund
* less than 2 business days prior to workshopʼs start date - No compensation
No compensation, neither Refund nor Credit is available for cancellations less than 2 full business days prior to a workshopʼs start time or for non-attendance. For example, if you cancel your registration for a workshop that starts at 6:30pm on Monday, we must confirm your cancellation no later than 6:30pm the Thursday before. There are absolutely no make-ups allowed for any missed session(s) of a workshop. It is not possible for students to make up a missed session of their Workshop by attending an equivalent session on another day. There are no refunds for missed sessions.
