Join a Murray’s expert for a deep dive into pairing red wine with a wide array of exceptional cheeses.
From smooth and juicy to bold and earthy, the complex, varied flavors of red wine are good friends to cheese. In this guided tasting, you’ll explore a diverse array of red wines alongside a Murray’s expert, who will take you through one-of-a-kind cheeses that pair beautifully with each beverage. With fun facts, tasty cheeses, and plenty of delicious discoveries, this cozy class will leave you inspired to sip and slice all season long.
In-person classes take place in the classrooms located at Bleecker Street store. The classrooms are located upstairs and downstairs at the venue and are therefore not wheelchair accessible.

Students at Red Wine & Cheese Pairing have praised the teachers for their extensive knowledge and the amount of information they shared. While the class was informative about the process of making cheese, some students felt that it lacked interaction among the students during the pairings. One student mentioned that they had attended a class with a more social element, allowing students to discuss and mingle. However, the cheeses provided were delicious. On the other hand, students were not impressed with the quality of the wines offered and would not consider purchasing any of them. Quote: "The class was really informative on how the cheeses are made, but I wish there was more interaction among the students during the pairings."
