Description

In this intermediate basket weaving workshop, you will construct an Appalachian egg basket, a practical and beautiful woven vessel with two hoops and traditional ribbed construction. Perfect for storing eggs, yarn, vegetables, or decorative items, you'll customize your basket with accent colors of your choice. Beyond taking home a functional piece, you'll master both the decorative God's Eye weaving pattern and the structural techniques required for creating ribbed baskets.

Required Background: Students must have completed a fundamental basket-weaving class before enrolling in this course.

Refund Policy

  • Full refunds less a 5% processing fee will be offered for cancellations that occur 32 days or more before a program's registration deadline (if no deadline, the first day of the program).
  • Cancellations between 31 and 9 days will be offered a 50% refund or credit toward another class.
  • Cancellations after the registration deadline or within 8 days of the first day of class (whichever comes first) will not be refunded.
  • In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
