Description

Join us for this one-day workshop that starts with a walk around the neighborhood of the museum to identify invasive plant species. We will also talk about how to prepare plant fibers for basketmaking, then guide the class in making a medium-sized functional basket.

Beginners are welcome for this introduction to weaving techniques that you can use with any fiber types.

Refund Policy

Full refunds less a 5% processing fee will be offered for cancellations that occur 32 days or more before a program's registration deadline (if no deadline, the first day of the program).
Cancellations between 31 and 9 days will be offered a 50% refund or credit toward another class.
Cancellations after the registration deadline or within 8 days of the first day of class (whichever comes first) will not be refunded.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
