About The DanceSource
We are a well-known, professional Ballet and in Rego Park, New York, and has been in the Forest Hills community since 1994. We merged with Ballet Arts of Forest Hills in 2006 which had been in Rego Park since 1975), bringing together two strong ballet programs to the community.
We provide our students with a solid base of technique. Classes are offered by professional dancers, many coming from some of the best studios and dance companies that New York City has to offer - including Broadway Dance Center, Steps Studio of New York City, Alvin Ailey Dance Company and American Ballet Theater. Our skilled teachers bring their craft to our company, sharing their talents and professional training with our young dancers.
We offer pre-dance for dancers aged 2 1/2. For dancers age 3-4, we offer Ballet pre-dance, Tap and Gymnastics. For dancers 4 through 12, we offer Ballet, Tap and Gymnastics. For older dancers, we offer Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern dance, Hip-Hop, Gymnastics, Tap, Egyptian Belly, Hatha Yoga, Arti Jujitsu Martial Arts, Georgian Dance, Zumba, Ballroom, Indian Barata Naytham, Bollywood dance, and more.

Loved my class. It's been years and I mean decades since I took tap dance and I loved that my instructor, Arlene, didn't mind that. I had to start from scratch and she was utterly patient with my two left feet and very sweet at how terrible I was. She gave confidence to try it again. Unfortunately, they don't have a schedule up, so couldn't book another class. -
