Welcome to New York Fencing Academy where you find quality instruction for all aspects of fencing. NY Fencing Academy was founded in 2010 to help people discover, enjoy, and advance in the sport of fencing. We not only aim to develop fencers’ technical skills but we also focus on physical fitness.

New York Fencing Academy is a newly renovated 3,000 square foot state-of-the-art club with 6 fencing strips, overhead scoring machines, targets, locker rooms, new floors, air conditioning and heating. A comfortable spectator area offers a full view of the fencing as well as TV, free wi-fi, seating and tables.

It is no wonder that we provide one of the best youth and cadet Epee programs in the tri-state area, which results in outstanding achievements in local, national, and international competitions by our members. Our classes range from beginner groups to individualized lessons for all ages, depending on your personal interest and needs. Come and meet our head coach, Misha Mokretsov, tour our excellent facilities and experience the sport of sword fighting!

Attended: Pilates Conditioning

First of all, this is not a Pilates class as the name states, according to the owner. It is a strength and conditioning class for the fencing students who attend the Fencing Academy in Coney Island. The class is normally $25 for fencing students, but $45 for outsiders. Strictly fencing, no Pilates at all. Helene Salowitz
