Description

Playing with other people is one of the most effective ways to improve – and have more fun in the process! In this class, you will delve deeply into one song at a time as a group. You will learn parts and song structure, work on singing and playing (singing is not required--but it is fun!), develop song arrangements and learn to listen to other players. Guitar ensembles are the next step for those who have completed the nine courses in the NYC Guitar School Beginners Program, or who otherwise are comfortable mixing and matching open and barre chords, playing individual notes, runs and arpeggios, and playing complex rhythms. Members are limited to one ensemble at a time.

Prerequisites: Complete all 9 levels of Beginner Guitar or otherwise be confident with open chords, E and A form barre chords, mixed strums, arpeggios, playing individual notes, etc.

Refund Policy

You can cancel your registration any time before the first class for a one hundred percent refund or credit. You can withdraw from a class at any time after it begins by calling CourseHorse for a credit (not a refund) for remaining classes. If you attend or make-up all sessions of a class and are dissatisfied with your class for any reason let us know within 14 days and we'll give you a one hundred percent refund.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
