Class Description

Description

Join us for our new morning Alexander class and start your day upright rather than uptight.  This class is designed for actors who want to jumpstart their morning with exercises to help in the audition room, rehearsal room, or wherever the day takes them.  The Alexander Technique teaches performers how to release habitual tension in their bodies while performing. This class will begin with exercises on how to sit, stand, and audition with balance, poise, and presence. The second hour will focus on individual issues, including stage fright, breath, and posture. You’ll leave class centered, energized, and ready to take on the day.

I enjoyed the class, and I really liked the teacher. However, I had to have emergency surgery and wasn't able to complete the course.
