Description

During this hands-on course, you'll construct a stunning, high-quality box that serves as an ideal gift for celebrations such as graduations or birthdays. You'll employ a diverse range of both powered woodworking equipment and traditional hand tools to master this craft. Through guided instruction, you'll develop skills in planning and laying out precise box joinery, gain practical experience operating a router, work with hand planes to refine your pieces, and learn the techniques necessary to fit a lid perfectly to its corresponding box. The entire project concludes with the application of a quality sealing finish that showcases and enhances the natural grain and character of the wood. This is an ideal skill-building class that produces a beautiful, functional finished product to take home.
