The perfect project bag for knitters, separating your delicates in a suitcase, prepping for the potential overnight after date #3, or holiday gifts- cute! Whether you're carrying essentials or the weight of the world, Big Ass Pouch is the class for creating something functional and stepping up your sewing game.
This class is for those with a little sewing experience, for peeps who want a refresher or just want to make something cute. We’ll cover working with interfacing and installing a zipper.
We will cover things like:
- Working with a pattern
- Using interfacing
- Installing a zipper
- Proper pinning and cutting techniques
- Fabric 101
- Constructing a BAP
Prerequisites: This class requires recent sewing machine experience — this is not a learn-to-sew class. Students who have taken [Sewing 101] or a private lessons with me tend to be the most prepared, as my teaching style builds the strong foundation for all other classes. That said, if you feel confident, you know yourself best! This note is simply here to make sure you're set up to enjoy every minute — not spend it catching up or unlearning old habits.
What is Included: All tools, notions, and instruction for the workshop.
Note: This does not include materials. Materials can be purchased separately or brought from home.
What do I need to bring?
You can choose to have me provide your materials for a discounted price or bring the following to create a BAP:
