While exposing students to STEAM and making is an important opportunity, that alone is not enough to close the STEAM gap for many women, minorities and underrepresented groups. We’ll examine inclusive teaching strategies and other methods to help make your program more accessible and engaging for all learners.

What you'll learn:

  • Design thinking
  • STEAM/STEAD curriculum design
  • Maker education

Notes:

  • This class is for teachers in all settings- public, Independent, private, parochial, homeschool, pods, etc.
  • When registering, list the teacher 's name in the Purchaser Info field, and an emergency or school admin contact in the secondary contact field. (Don't worry, we won't reach out to your school or spam your inbox!)

  • This class is for K-6 classroom teachers who want to introduce technology and making in fun, authentic ways

Workshop is non-refundable. Credit issued up to 10 days prior to workshop. No credits or refunds issued for cancellations within 10 days of workshop.
