Learn to Lash

The course will cover the important concepts of assisting an individual in the application of eyelash extensions as a professional in the field, from consultation to preparation and then application.  It has been proven that the more hands-on practice we offer to our course participants, the sooner they will achieve the appropriate skills of handling lash tools in mastering the application process.  To accomplish this goal, we ask all participants to come ready for a hands-on educational experience -- to be a model to other participants as others will model for them.  Participants in this training will also be introduced to the appropriate tools and supplies used in the trade.  Participants will receive information related to the purchase of equipment and supplies, inventory management of lash extensions, and career education on becoming a professional lash artist in the beauty industry. This course provides all practicing lash supplies and equipment for a successful lash extension course.

This course falls under the Communication, Critical Thinking, and Personal, Social, Civic, and Environmental Responsibility Institutional Level Outcomes (ILOs).

• Upon successful completion of the class, participants will learn:
• The process of Lash Extension application
• The proper handling of Lash Extension tools, including safety and sanitation
• How to set-up and maintain a safe work environment
• Where to locate and how to obtain equipment and supplies used in the trade
• To manage a booking calendar for Lash Extensions clients
