Introduce your young learner to the joy and satisfaction of making music with this welcoming beginner guitar course. Students master fundamental guitar techniques, including correct posture, various strumming methods, beginner-friendly chord progressions, and rhythmic patterns. Weekly sessions build technical skills and musical confidence through supervised practice, simple melodies, and age-appropriate creative projects that sustain engagement and enthusiasm. No previous musical background required. Students must provide their own guitar (acoustic or electric with a small portable amplifier).
There are no refunds or transfers after a class begins. Requests to withdraw from a class or transfer to another Community Services class must be done 5 OR MORE DAYS prior to the first class meeting. There is a $15 service charge per class for each refund or transfer requested. If you enrolled in a class less than 5 days prior to the first class meeting, NO refunds will be given. There are no refunds or credits for absences and late registrations are not pro-rated. Missed class meetings may not be made up in another class.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
