We will be learning all the tricks to getting your chocolate to the right consistency, color and temperature. I will be answering all your questions and tackling any problems you might have like getting your sticks to stick, getting your chocolate to not dip funky, using quality melts...

Teen and Tween Cooking Camp

Give your teen or tween a memorable and valuable week of camp that will serve them throughout their entire life. From knife skills to baking 101, this camp will cover a different cuisine each day (Italian/Greek, Latin-American, Asian, French, etc.) while we learn essential skills. Everything we make in class we will eat for lunch or take home for dinner. 90% vegetarian. Cookbook and aprons included.

What you'll learn in this kids cooking class:
Become an El Camino College Kid's College chef! Bursting with hands-on cooking activities with an emphasis on nutrition, your kid will learn basic cooking techniques, how to safely work with cooking tools, and fractional math through measurements.
Plus, a bonus for parents! Each day, your kid will bring home new recipes to share with the family!
IMPORTANT: For campus/in-person classes, vaccination proof and masking in classrooms is required for adult and kid students and staff.

Refund Policy
Class Withdrawal
- If you request to withdraw from a class and the request is received by us 4 business days prior to class start date, a credit voucher valid for three(3) years will be granted, less a $20 processing fee.
- Refund requests for excursions and special events must be received no later than 11 full business days before the scheduled excursion or event.
Cancellation
If the College cancels a class for any reason, those pre-registered will be notified by phone and email and payment will be refunded. The school also reserve the right to substitute instructors or reschedule class times if necessary.
