What you'll learn in this painting class:

Want to paint and have fun, I am an experienced teacher and active acclaimed artist who teaches watercolor, acrylic, and inks. You can learn each or a combination of all of the media, if you paint on paper this class is for you from beginners to advanced painters.

A painting class for all levels! I teach on an individual basis if you are a beginner I help you pick the media, the paper, the brushes and techniques we begin with the basic colors in watercolor or acrylics and then as you grow we add more ingredients to make your painting sing. With the more advanced students I critique where you are at and what are your goals for this class. I encourage the students to try new methods and new materials.

I actually signed up for the class back in June and it was a great way to spend 2 hours on a Wednesday morning. Only myself and another student were present at the class and the teacher was great. The only reason I haven’t returned is because 10am on Wednesdays is an unpredictable time in my week, and I live 25+ minutes away. However, I purchased some of my favorite art supplies at the store it’s hosted within, so I’m grateful for that as well.

The class only had 3 people so Rea gave us all a lot if individual attention. As a watercolor newbie I needed and got a lot of suggestions as to how to work on my waiting of leaves. Rea is very patient, taught us a number of important watercolor concepts, and I left the class very inspired and interested in taking more watercolor classes to develop my skills.

I really enjoyed my session with Rea. She striped it back to basics for me to understand how watercolor can be used, as I'm a super beginner. She gave good constructive feedback and tips throughout.
