What you'll learn in this bls class:
This class is for current American Heart Association (AHA) Instructors that need to renew their instructor certification. Regardless if you are a Heartsaver, BLS, ACLS, or PALS instructor this is the first step for renewal. During the class you will complete paperwork to keep your instructor file up to date as well as go over any changes or updates to keep current.
You will also schedule a date to come back and coteach. Upon successful completion of this class and coteaching your instructor certification will be renewed for an additional 2 years.
Things you need to bring to class:
- Please bring your instructor workbook with you to class. If you do not have a current version, you can purchase one in class for $50.
- Please bring your calendar of availability so we can get you scheduled for your coteach evaluation.
- Please bring proof of 4 classes taught over the last 2 years.
- Current Valid provider card in the discipline you are an instructor for.
- Please bring valid driver’s license or other proof of identification.
- Please bring proof of license (RN, EMT, Paramedic, RT, PA…)
School Notes:
All of the courses that we have students sign up for through CourseHorse are skills sessions. Skills sessions require that the student complete an online testing portion through the American Heart Association, that online testing portion is a separate charge from our class fee for facilitating the skills session in the class room.
We offer full provider classes that are all done in class without the need to complete an online test before the class starts.

Refund Policy
- If you need to cancel or reschedule your class a 2 business days notice to CourseHorse is required.
- If less than 2 business days notice is received we can no longer issue a refund of any sort.
Students must arrive on time for their class. Students who arrive 15 minutes or more late, will not be allowed into class and will not be allowed a refund. No-call, No-show will result in you being charged for the cost of the class.
