Description

Begin your Spanish learning journey if you have little to no prior experience with the language. In the first class, you'll learn proper pronunciation, the alphabet, and the fundamental concepts of gender (masculine and feminine) and number (singular and plural) as they apply to Spanish nouns. Over weeks 2 through 5, the focus shifts to constructing sentences using the essential verbs ser, estar, and tener. You'll build vocabulary across various thematic areas, including adjectives, interrogative words, dates, numbers, and more.

By the end of Spanish 1, you'll have the ability to introduce yourself, ask about prices, communicate basic information about your origins and occupation, and describe the locations and characteristics of people, objects, and places.

Note: Tuition includes a workbook and audio files.

Refund Policy

Refunds are given ONLY if CFU cancels a class.

If you cannot attend a class you must contact CourseHorse at least 96 hours prior to your first class meeting. With 96 hours notice we can transfer you to another available class or give you a credit voucher to use towards another class in the future (credits are good for one year from date of issue and cannot be redeemed for cash). There will be a $7 transaction fee for dropping or transferring out of the original class.

There are no credits issued for cancellations under 96 hours notice.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
