What you'll learn in this kids robotics class:
This course introduces campers to the LEGO® Mindstorms robotics platform. Campers will choose different machine-style builds and program the devices using the EV3 application. Using block-based programming modules, students will instruct their robot in a variety of tasks; depending on the build, this may include a sorting procedure, pick & place routine, or a balancing algorithm. If your student is a hands-on tinkerer-type kiddo, then this is your camp! The Mindstorms platform is a popular robotics platform widely used in middle and high schools today - great get ahead plan! This camp is a collaborative; students are asked to work in pairs.
Drop-off/Pick-up instructions as well as all other camp details will be sent to you during the week prior to the start of camp. We'll look forward to seeing you this summer. Call us at 303-800-0011 with questions. * If your camper is enrolled in both AM & PM camps this week, they may bring a bag lunch and join us during the lunch hour.
General Student Skills Requirements
- Ability to access an Internet browser and navigate the web
- Ability to navigate between multiple windows during class
- Ability to cut & paste using Ctrl X, C and V (windows), or Command X, C and V (mac).

Refund Policy
Course Cancellation: You understand that the school reserves the right to cancel a course. If a course is cancelled, you understand that you may enroll your child or yourself in another course. If none are available for the same dates, a refund will be issued for all monies paid to us for the cancelled course. Alternatively, the tuition paid for the cancelled course can be applied to a voucher that can be used during that same session or future sessions as space permits.
Cancellation and Payment Policy: Tuition is non-refundable if student cancels enrollment in a traditional after-school course or workshop within 1 week of start date. Tuition for summer camps is non-refundable if student cancels participation within 2 weeks of start date. However, tuition credit may be applied to other courses offered within 1 year of the cancelled course. A $25 returned check fee will be assessed for any checks returned.
Cancellations that qualify for a refund must be made by contacting CourseHorse.
No refunds will be issued for early withdrawal or dismissal from courses, workshops or camps due to absences, or dismissals due to behavioral issues.
